Be in the Zone
At KoruInternational we consider that the cognitive mind, emotions and body physiology are all interconnected. With Tai Chi the cultivation of improved overall balance, as a mind/body experience, has a significant influence on reducing stress and increasing performance and well-being.
As part of a solutions programme Tai Chi will demonstrate how to increase alertness and concentration whilst finding a calm centre in the middle of life’s storm of change. You will learn how to enter what is know as “the zone” or flow state, an experience of peak performance where actions are automatic, intuitive and unconscious.
Tai Chi Coaching
Tai Chi is an ancient Chinese exercise developed over the centuries into a very simple, yet highly sophisticated method of influencing cognitive, emotional and physiological changes in an individual using movement, breathing and relaxation techniques.
We know that time is at a premium in business, and importantly so is the effective use of your energy. During the KoruInternational Tai Chi programme you will be coached on key elements of the form. These Tai Chi sets can then be practiced for as little as 10-15 minutes per day on your own or with colleagues. Once learned you may find it an invigorating way to start your morning, or after work to ease any tension built up during the day.
Benefits
Tai Chi, a component of Chinese medicine, increases strength and promotes calmness and harmony by improving the flow of internal energy (chi) throughout the body. A clear and calm mind helps improve creativity and promotes effective decision making. It will instil in you a level of commitment to being the best you can be, that is far beyond what you may be currently displaying. You will be able to safely raise the bar on your performance and learn to ignore anxiety and self-doubt, whilst improving your energy and well-being.
Tai Chi improves posture, clears the mind of interference, raises consciousness and helps to remove tension held in the body. In addition Tai Chi has been proven to have many health benefits including reducing high blood pressure, often a direct result of stress.
